The user/password is not valid. I have tried Oracle and the password is correct. Then check db.properties to see that the username and password are correct. driverClassName=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver url=jdbc:oracle:thin:@192.168.25.129:1521:orcl username=tommy password=*** Use the Spring Framework to get a DataSource instance. All database authenticated users are getting the error: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied, even if we are sure the password should be correct. When you inspect the DBA_USERS.PASSWORD_VERSIONS you only see 11G and 12C values but not 10G. Changes. This may happen after an upgrade to 12c version 12.1.0.2 or 12.2
Select Failure from the Status menu to display only failed sign-ins. Select the failed sign-in you want to investigate to open the details window. Explore the details on each tab. You may want to save a few details for further troubleshooting. These details are highlighted in the screenshot following the list.

It's uppercase because I am using Oracle10g which sends its data always uppercase but oracle11g (11.0.2.0 which I use) is case sensitive (so everything has to be created uppercase). Following the upgrade to 10, when I try to sign in via Remote Desktop it clearly makes the connection and brings up the sign in screen. I enter my Username/Password as I always have and instead of being taken to the desktop, I am given "Invalid Credentials" I have tried using the original password, I've tried using my Microsoft Account
