The Phantom 3 features a built-in light-bridge downlink that allows the user to control the UAV at a maximum range of 4800 meters or about three miles. Compared to the Phantom 2, the 3 also has an improved visual positioning system which helps the UAV maintain its position indoors and at lower altitudes where GPS signals may be weak or unavailable.
Check these basics : - The RC transmitter is updated through the DJI Go App and not the SD card. After 1.3 all updates are this way (ON TRANSMITTER). -Always update the aircraft first-. -Make sure you download the proper firmware.
